In 2020, YouTuber Missy Forest was diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer). During chemotherpy, she created a character that represented her, Hammie. With the help of her mom, she founded the brand MF's Craft. In 2024, they decided to change the name of the brand into HammieWoods, not just to be known as a craft store, but also a brand that sells every possible creations.
